Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms- to choose one"s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one"s own way . Death anxiety: people are more aware of death. Western society as a death denying and death-defying culture. Personal experience: of loss, may not have experienced death or may have experienced it a lot. Family attitudes: may be avoided topic within family, may not. School and peers: may share family values. Death cafes: people come together and talk about mortality. Death doulas: there are many tasks associated with dying, like bring a meal to the family, clean out persons house, a death doula makes the process easier for the family, may be involved before or after death. Dostadning (death cleaning): will anyone i know be happier if i save this: as they prepare for death, start to get rid of things.
