Reasonable wait what doctors recommend to be clinically reasonable. Measuring wait times is difficult and every country measures it differently, no one accepted model to measure it hard to compare jurisdictions just using those numbers. 5% increase of death with every month of hospital delay. Impact on children 25% waiting longer than maximum, significant surgeries that affect their lives and futures. Patients who waited longer more change of post-operational consequences, less likely to return to work. Postponing vacations, embarrassment (could prevent them from going out in public), lose driving (independence) Frustration, helpless and depression in patients who wait a long time for treatment. Can also affect caregivers and friends/family make sacrifices to care for their person.
