Life course perspective longitudinal what happens over time and what influences and guide them in their aging process. One of the things that affect them are the norms and expectations that we have, these may be influenced by family and culture. The social clock this is this feeling that when i am 17-18 i need to go to university. When i am 21-22 i have to finish university and i need to go to grad school or get a job. Unlike psychological and biological models this is not limited to the individual level, it has to do with history.
