The lancet review article discusses sdh as they relate to adolescent health. Adolescence part 1 the normative model: an area identified as being under-researched. Yet the only sources used in this review are those that are un agencies (seems limited) The authors identify the need to learn more about structural and proximal factors. The jensen & arnett review article is different in that its focus is on applying more traditional theories about adolescence/emerging adulthood within the context of globalization. They seek to create a new set of ideas with which to understand how young people from around the world form their identities and adapt in a changing world. They draw upon a wealth of international qualitative research to illustrate their ideas. Learning about adolescent health is important for population health and the economic development of (cid:374)atio(cid:374)s what about for adolescents themselves?: as a developmental phase, it is 2nd only to childhood in terms of psychological and physiological change.
