This is their primary role which assist in inhalation and exhalation: perineum and pelvic diaphragm muscles, within each compartment identify: Deep back muscles: called deep back muscles because there are superficial muscles that you need to move away, these muscles also play a role in movement of the upper limb. Trapezius muscle is a large muscle on the back that help move the limb.
