Introduction: one of the very undermining issues involving abortions is the involvement of the male partner in the decision making process of abortions. Man has no legal right to veto a woman"s abortion decision. The supreme court rules that a man has no legal right to veto a woman"s abortion decision. The ruling comes after the boyfriend of chantal daigle obtained a court injunction preventing her from getting an abortion. Daigle had secretly obtained a late-term abortion in the u. s. In ontario, a similar injunction, filed by an ex-boyfriend, is granted against barbara dodd. She too has an abortion but later tells the public she regrets her decision. First big issue involves the failure to appreciate the complexity of men"s roles. Research on this matter revealed that majority of men did not openly state their concern on abortion openly and as a result, lead to either domestic abuse or betrayal of the mother and spouse.
