Trying to look at the small causal factors as to why they were so sick. Are social environment more responsible for our health than the healthcare system or our personal habits. Bus drivers are held to a schedule and are monitored, if they were late to a stop then it would be stressful. 4-5 year gap between poorest and richest men. Gap for premature death is even greater. When we look at low income as a cause of death: 3rd leading cause of premature death is poverty. Relieving poverty= alleviating all forms of cancer. Poverty is harder to see as a cause of death than cancer. A gradient at every level for almost every disease.
