Thus, rape has many different far reaching consequences. When you break down people"s strength, you also break down the economy. Especially if they"re pregnant with children from the rapist (cid:523)enemy(cid:524) It is like a kind of genocide. Destroys men, women, and children of the culture. Many militaries do not specifically (cid:498)endorse(cid:499) it, but they just turn a blind eye to it. It"s little about sex/sexual desire, but more about power and dominance, The presence of prostitutes does not sway soldiers away from raping territory. Although there are many issues related to sexual oppression from communities, Aids, female circumcision, and wartime rape are some of most discussed globally. Attention to global issues often neglects the problem at home.
