In memphis a team of clinicians were studying how to use chemotherapy drugs more effectively. They tried longer chemotherapy treatments in different combinations. B-cell leukemia) there were hundreds of variations in almost every type of cancer depending on different chromosomal abnormalities, different mutations. This is why a one-size-fits-all drug won"t work: as we find out the chromosomal abnormalities behind these cancers, we can target those cells directly to hopefully find a cure.
