Pick ive out of the listed 9 short answer quesions. Water accumulates down the slope- shear stress erodes soil surface. This results in the eroding of certain areas. When water iniltrates the soil, the water seeps into the soil, and that water moves down by gravity to the underlying bed rock beneath, or the water can stay on the surface and remain as surface runof.
