Hazards differ in their potential to cause a catastrophe based on the size of the area affected. More likely too be catastrophic > tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes, floods. Less likely to be catastrophic > landslides, avalanches, wildfires, tornadoes.
