Now- we can travel all around the planet cheaply and easily. Our world is massively smaller than that of our parents/ grandparents/etc. Gets used a lot in europe (smaller and gas+ vehicles more expensive there) there) India has largest rail network in the world under single management. Localized rail: people get to work via rail. Lunchbox system: wife at home can make a meal for husband and it gets delivered to him at work. All roads and trains lead into buenos aires. Many of their airports don"t have paved landing strips. People are starting to buy cars (smaller cars, not big cars) Rail is still significant means of travel around china (esp. for tourists)
