Corporations that produce or deliver services in at least two different countries. Tncs are the primary agents of international trade. The first wave of globalization with tncs end with the great depression (1929) The current one started with the end of ww2. The influence or power that tnc possess has greatly shaped the economic globalization of the world: can be viewed as corporate globalization . They have been contrasting viewpoints when it comes to the impact and repercussions of tnc. Yet at the same time, there are concerns of tncs: how they use international organizations and trade agreements to undermine of the local government to impose safety, environmental and wage regulations that harms the country. The race to the bottom where poor countries pit themselves in a bidding war attract. Tncs: and being a business first tnc will gravitate towards those countries that offer the most incentives such as lower wage rates and lower standards.
