You learn to discover things about yourself you never would have. Talk about what i learned when i went to ecuador, becoming doctor and my experience there. Everything you do in life that has meaning that has emotion, that brings joy, passion, sadness to you, that sticsk with you strongly in memory. We travel because we are optimistic of finding something for us to make us happy. But happiness is usually temporary, but finding a part of you can make happiness permanent because our whole lives we are born to figure out who we are, our identity, and staying in our comfort zone stops the discovery. Tourism is going out of your comfort zone. Allowing the idea of new to enter your life and expand your mind open mindedness. I am the non institutionalized tourist, the explorer, in cohens classifaction of toursits.
