There are still anti zoo activists: born free is leading force (uk based, while they are opposed to most roadside zoos. Their political focus is more reform and raising standards. Aza conservation partnerships: what is the place of zoos in conservation, rich zoos are the key players in captive breeding of certain animals. Born free works with sanctuaries across the world (but also aza) reintroduce species or give them semi wildlife conditions.
