Interpersonal distance ( physical distance: intimate zone face-to-face, quite loving interaction, personal zone used for interactions with friends and acquaintances, social zone businesslike interactions. Public zone formal interactions (eg. instructor and students in lecture) Useful information can be conveyed by posture or motion of the body. It can signal status, high-status people tend to adopt open, asymmetric postures in which two halves of the body assume different positions, take up lots of space. Two people touch each other more when they are more intimate. Different emotions cause to emit different chemicals from bodies. All variations in voice, how they say it. Men use lower pitch , women use higher with their lovers. Voice can cur to a partner"s mate value as people with appealing voice tend to have alluring facies and bodies: nonverbal sensitivity. Women are both better encoders and more astute decoders than men are on average.
