Boom of fish farming and aquaculture again, china is the largest aquafarming nation. Shrimp in the wild 5-15lbs of wild fish killed to bring 1lb of shrimp into the market, also very fuel inefficient dragging for shrimp is one of the most carbon intensive ways of fishing. Shrimp is the most consumed seafood in america. Mangrove forests wild habitats where shrimp are farmed.
