He"s afraid doctors will dig her up since she has a questionable. They need cadavers, but difficult to get under christian law. Perhaps he fears the actual discovery from the doctors. Incest as an idea is entombed in the minds of those. Similarly, roderick hears the beating of her heart and fists against the tomb. The repressed secret is beginning to present itself to usher himself.
