The cabin teams start to wake up. Cabin times varied depending on the campers needs - directed by the cabin leader. Staff go into campers cabin @ 7am and have until 8am. Cabins had 8-10 staff for 8-12 campers. Sing oh canada, camp time, work @ the garden. Check in w/ staff and bring them their needs. Touch base w/ people who had been up all night and were ready to go for today. Hard to feed yourself, campers, get needs met, etc. Program teams have a meeting, leadership team and nurses fill in. Meet to decide what"s going on the next day and sign up. Do camp top 10 for kids and staff. Most staff had a break on site - not leaving site. Kids had the same opportunity to have hang time. Do special services w/ campers who were having behavioural problems. Wanted to make sure staff had as many options for self-care.
