Dependent and weak states: kenya, ethiopia, venezuela, ecuador, caribbean, middleast, largely succumbed to the power of oligarchs and corporate interests, dependency is on primary commodity exports (kenya-ethiopia: coffee; Venezuela- ecuador: oil; caribbean bananas; middle east oil) highly vulnerable.
