Plebeians laws binding on all romans (287 bc) Struggles of the orders are finally over o. *( ) numbers are the ones that grew. *these are the only public officials in rome, the rest are privatized. Consuls- just like the archons of greece; chief commander of war, lead the troops: gates of janus- open when there"s war going on; only ever closed once; constantly at war. Praetor- had to increase to 6 because rome got bigger; organize law court; back up. 2. imperium, when consuls are out leading the troops.
