Pollinating animals get nectar from the plant, while it also spreads around the pollen of the plant adaptive radiation. Mutualistic relationship one player is getting food, the other player is getting its pollen spread around (both players benefit) Acatia plants provide a home for ants, the ants and the plant benefit ants swarm any other herbivore if it tries to eat the plant mutualistic reaction. Humans are a huge evolutionary force sometimes it resuslts in both species benefitting ex, domestication of animals and plants we both enjoy higher success than we would without the presence of the other species. When two species are in competition for the same prey (food), water both species result in a reduction in size because of the competition. Trees competing for sunlight favoured by selection pressure making it to the canopy, the tallest tree has the biggest advantage. May also compete for space (roots to grow), water, competition below and above ground level.
