Now we"re focusing on forms of social organization, after studying scholars of social organization last term. As they emerged over time in situations of unequal power relations, and through a kind of dynamic of external pressure and internal response. How african tribes were created in the colonial context by the administrators and different groups in africa who found it useful to make life possible within the new situations they were facing. Clark uses the terms internal/external the language and metaphors we use can lead us to think of things in particular ways. Increasingly, wolf was using metaphors that were less from architecture with structure and levels, but more of physics, like vectors and fields of force.
