Intrinsic: thenar muscles , only in hand: abductor pollicis brevis. Action: draws 5th meta, pinky opposition to thumb. Medial nerve injury hand of benediction : no thumb opposition lose flex of digit 2/3 (fds/fdp) lose lateral lumbericals (no flex of mcp, 4/5 still flex cause ulnar innervated. If occur at wrist (would be able to flex digit) would just lose thumb. Ulnar nerve injury claw hand : no abduct/adduct of digits, no tight grip, unopposed action extensor/fds. Injury wrist: able use wrist, flex last 2 digits but pinky weak.
