In other words, the inca and aztec state were a complete integration of every aspect in society economic, political, religious, etc. All elements came together to produce a civilization but as well became the bases of extremely powerful and ambitious empires. Aztec and inca completely dominated their regional zones. Both empires were conquers who dominated subject peoples. The armies were pretty much matched when it came down to the final battles.
