Royal proclamation of 1763: a treaty, particular part of which it dealt with the british crown and these native communities, gives them rights, calls them nations, to whom we are connected, nation-to-nation connection, recognizing them diversity. We don"t have a separation between church and state. It is more separated than it was before, but its still there.
