Composed of muliple tables linked by a common ield. It is used to divide data into natural objects. Uses an enity-relaionship diagram to layout the structure for the database. Primary key: the unique ideniier for every entry. Foreign key: the primary key from another table that allows to ields to be linked. Graphics cards are used to more efecively portray graphics on a monitor. They contain: a circuit board, a processor called the graphics process unit or gpu , random access memory called video ram or vram , bios. The monitor size of a computer is measured from the top let corner to the botom right corner. Resoluion is the number of pixels displayed on the screen: higher resoluion means that pixels are smaller and the image is more accurate. Image quality is largely afected by resoluion and colour depth, which is the number of colours a monitor can display at once.
