Paired ureters drain urine from: kidneys: urinary bladder is lined with transitional epithelial tissue. Segmental artery: lobar artery, renal pelvis, renal capsule, arcuate artery, arcuate vein o. Interlobar artery o: what does renal mean, having to do with the kidney. Location: cortex: superficial to the kidney, medulla: extends from the renal cortex to renal sinus. Function of: medullary pyramids: house collecting tubules, medullary columns: house interlobar arteries and veins, ureter: conveys urine from kidneys to urinary bladder. Bv that are over the pyramid are arcuate veins. In between columns are interlobar veins and arteries. Interlobular veins and arteries are little carries fibrous capsule inwards.
