No single definition of women and men (ex: soujourner truth, aint i a woman speech" ) woman is not only about gender, sexuality, able bodied, etc. Differently situated women experience different kinds of violence (ex, trans women, indigenous women, queer women, etc. ) Gender is a reminder of the relationship of feminity and masculinity defines gender and gender roles based on the stereotypes associated. Gender is a spectrum not just a binary of male and female (imposed with sex & gender binary) Harassment arises when the gender expectations are not conformed. Dutee chand failed the gender test" because she had too much testosterone for a typical woman. Natural" the norm" (ex, race) it"s a social construct. How the different isms affect things on a global scale. Exploitation people hiring cheaper labour, people going out of work. Refugees often deported due to lack of citizenship, lack of documentation in shelters. Refugee actions fought for the rights to not deport them.
