Masculinity men are more likely to be in position of power, dominant position in the gender order. Patriarchal dividend: the benefits of male power and authority not all men benefit. Gender does not tell the whole story as people have multiple identity they operate in. Intersectional analysis: acknowledges that every person exists in the framework of multiple identities.
