Anarchy: implies chaos and disorder, authority leads to evil and corruption. Hogs(?: people are inherently evil, life was nasty, brutish and short, without rules and law we would kill each other and fall into chaos so we need them. Lock: humanity is inherently good, pleasant life, cooperate with each other because it"s in our interest, the bitterness comes from the institutions created. Thinks we are inherently good as a species. We create authorities and those authorizes are corrupt. To decide whether you think we are inherently bad or good, you can look at religion, science, etc . Linguistics: language acquisition device (lad) nothing: chomsky is based on the assumption that we have the ability to create something powerful which makes us different from any other being. It shows we are good because it allows us to create good things. All media is propaganda: we are given dishonest media.
