United nations (un) well known international organization. A hub for nations to resolve disagreements. Goal is to find a common ground that almost every country can agree upon make some meaningful changes. Laid out 8 goals to be achieved by 2015. Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger: ending malnutrition and food deficits. Achieve universal primary education: try to get every child education and to go to school, having resources to train teachers and convince population that sending your child to school is ideal. Improve maternal health: strong relationship between healthy mothers and children. Ensure environmental sustainability: we are not consuming raw resources, consuming at rate that will leave the planet depleted of resources in the future. Countries coming together to agree that these issues need to be addressed.
