Each individual occupies several social locations across categories - advantages and disadvantages. Privileged = occupying dominant position within social locations (most desirable, highest status, attached to the most beneficial outcomes) Privileged = part of norm, less discrimination, not being aware of privilege. Differentiate between males and females -> different treatment and evaluation.
