A woman says this is generations and generations of internalized racism. This is mapped onto populations of people, where dark is bad and light is right. Tyra banks isn"t white, but it sends a message by powerful people that black women can be beautiful, however, it is a certain type of black. People are looking at these race issues through eyes that are not their own.
