Cities with large influxes of immigrants are becoming increasingly different from other cities in canada (in growth rate, in diversity) High levels of immigration is contributing to voluntary and involuntary forms of residential segregation, and ethnic villages. The development of reagent park is tending to become high rise building. Many of the high rise buildings are built when energies are cheap, they are old buildings. Mid 20st century buildings are usually crowded with immigrants. Toronto becomes the city which attracts lots of immigrants.
