Example: idea that your grades you get are a reflection of the effort you put in that course. Social agency: the change, the individual humans that flow through the institutions. Power of agents (all humans that engage in actions) to engage in behaviors. Structure-agency dynamic: many think about the lives that we live as a pure reflection of the choices we make.
