(1997): & semantic memories: holland & kensinger (2010): autobiographical memory is built on our recollection of specific personal events, autobiographical memory is believed to contain memories of events that occurred during the course of one"s lifetime personally experienced events. Conversely episodic memory is thought to allow us to rmbr experiences that occurred during our life. Rmbr what one eat, wore; day of week, date. Both episodic & semantic memory: can be communicated flexibly: don"t have to report in sequence. Are generally accessible to conscious recall: so can rmbr right away.
