Ex// dan"s experience of procrastination: i take all this positive intentionality and energy and get down to the point of doing the thing but just end up doing something else. No change in outcome even when things are important, or if it"s things that i like. I enter new life stages but i don"t get any better. I probably get worse because now i have the knowledge that i have failed during previous attempts: what arises, as soon as i go to work on something, is all this dysfunctional stuff. My internalised feeling of failure, guilt, dissatisfaction, etc: next phase: this time it will work is now a mental state that i am positioning in an external state that is much worse than the previous times. Whatever strategies you are using right now, they are not going to work not in 20 years.
