Document Summary

Nature and nurture: heredity and environment influence everything. Interaction between genes and experience is complex: genotype i(cid:374)di(cid:448)idual"s (cid:272)o(cid:373)plete set of ge(cid:374)es; i(cid:374)herited ge(cid:374)eti(cid:272) (cid:373)aterial, phenotype i(cid:374)di(cid:448)idual"s physi(cid:272)al, (cid:271)eha(cid:448)ioral a(cid:374)d psychological environment. It occurs through interactions of genes to each other and genes with the environment: environment every aspect of the individual other than genes, pare(cid:374)t"s ge(cid:374)eti(cid:272) (cid:272)o(cid:374)tri(cid:271)utio(cid:374) to the (cid:272)hild"s ge(cid:374)otype. Chromosomes i. e. rod-like molecules that contain 23 pairs of dna found in every cell and contain all genes. Dna is a complex molecule that contain genes, which contains instructions for making protein. Genes are the basic units of heredity. Chromosomes are displayed on karyotype: the 23rd pair of chromosomes is wonky because it is the sex chromosomes. It is your father who determines your sex: mechanisms contributing to diversity. Mutations changes in sections of dna caused by random or environmental factors.
