The visit to 361 university avenue this year was again, another unforgettable experience. During this trip i witnessed a case on assault, where a man in his mid-late twenties was charged for hitting his girlfriend due to rage. Another case i witnessed was the famous eaton center shooting, which took place on the 2nd of june 2012. Sadly, the other cases i tried getting into were either on recess or locked by the judge"s order. The first assault case i attended was very calm and quiet i must say. Again, a recall of what led the man to his trial was that he had beaten his significant other that initiated cuts and bruises on her arms. It was also said that he cut her with a box cutter. When i walked into the courtroom, the defense was presenting his side of the case to the jury, trying to persuade them so that the accused would have a not guilty verdict.
