Document Summary

We try to program in our biology the knowledge we"re trying to learn. Brain is intricate network of neurons, like a culture is a network of people. Those neurons communicate and form larger patterns and structures, much like our culture communicates and forms institutions and systems of meaning. As neurons communicate, an association begins to form between them (like a relationship forms between 2 people when they talk) The more they communicate, the stronger the association gets, until it becomes virtually automatic and instantaneous (like how we build relationships w/ others & share private jokes w/ friends) Develop biology that is functionally adapted to a certain environment. Brain isn"t randomly organized because patterns in environment aren"t randomly organized. All aspects of consciousness and dynamic processes, connected to other dynamic processes. Understanding that activities of mind are biologically-transmitted dynamic processes, connecting to other processes is important.
