Ideology vs culture: culture values are basic and fairly constant over time, a political culture limits the parameter of debates, limited by culture. Sub-cultures and cultural symbols: political culture is about the world, not a new term - plato, aristotle, machiavelli all dealt with political culture, symbols are a mirror of culture.
