Muriel bristol was another statistician from england. Muriel asked to have the milk poured first so that the thermal expansion did not break the china (particularly low quality china); this implied she was lower class. Fisher objects to her decision because she would not know of the taste of tea with milk poured prior. An experiment is formed; 8 cups of tea (arranged blindly) were to be consumed. 4 cups were prepared with milk first, the other 4 with tea first; the order of these cups were randomized. Bristol correctly guessed all of the cups she tasted. Importantly, one can learn from experiments and test people"s claims. Aspects of such experiments include treatment and control (regarding experimentation), randomization and measurement.
