All driven by commerce and private property instead of war: commerce gets us further than war, constructing a society favorable to trade/commerce, business centered. Modern liberty is better than ancient liberty and pre-modern despotism (french kings) We prefer representative to direct government that just leaves us alone to be happy and get rich: representative democracy, referendums direct.
