Feminist issues contribute in some way to understanding the oppression of women: however its very context dependent- so abuse/domination of environment is a feminist issue if understanding of it will contribute to an understanding of oppression of women. Incorporates logical structure and value system in form of an ethical/value laden premise justifying subordination. Warren: nothing really wrong with first two features in non- oppressive contexts (example: hierarchal thinking can be used for classifying data) In oppressive contexts, are used to establish inferiority and justify subordination when combined with a logic of domination. Logic of domination is fundamental to oppressive frameworks: oppression and nature/women share patriarchal conceptual framework characterized by logic of domination.
