Uses bliss to keep unwanted internal experiences from entering awareness. By avoiding content and stressing process when we meditate, we never have to face the experiences and its meaning. We may privilege ego-lessness and loss of self. Devaluing reason and intellect i want to regress . Focus on immediate nonverbal experience in meditation can justify avoidance of reflection of our experience. Many traditional teachings caution against using reason or logic, leads to doubt. Doubt and questioning seen as a hindrance to spiritual process. Avoid emotional pain i cannot accept or grieve my loss . Ppl seek for self-knowledge due to significant personal loss. Meditation can lead to dissociation or failure to process mourning/grief in a detached way.
