Key to geographical imagination: mental images how things, people, places are perceived. Missionary preaching to the indians the meanings from these mental images are created through discourse. All of this is based on different forms of knowledge: knowledge is form of power which feeds the geographical imagination. Geographical imagination is a form of simplification diluting the complexity of a space and its inhabitants.
