Engage the city the geographies of inequality within the city. Globalization has resulted in many benefits throughout the world; however it has also created the problem of global economic inequality. Each year, millions of people migrate to different countries for jobs and education. Meanwhile, toronto is a significant example which shows distinct ethnicity diversity. Within toronto by j. david hulchanski and what we all long for by dionne brand, discussed the geographies of inequality within the city of toronto, and proofed that the geographies of inequality of income and racism are well connected. On the other hand, in brand"s novel, there are three characters from different countries, all gather together in the subway. Hulchanski"s three cities theory, they probably belong to city #3. They are wearing cheap clothing, which somehow shows that they are having a relatively low income, and most of the immigrants are distributing in city #3.
