Indigenous: orientation of cjs towards reducing antagonism b/t people, rather than exextuanitng antagonisms. If you have criminal act, someone stole something, created antagonism b/t people rather than adversial cjs hat would serve to extenuate those antagonism, indigenous. Cjs about restoring those relationships and recuing the antagonisms: conflict and antagonisms, role of labels, western, people fixed in time, qualities they posses know are fixed and wont change. Indigenous: see people as more complex, as changing, capable of learning. Idea that experts come from outside: best solution come from someone that is impartial outsider or a professional expert. Language is outdated - cdn as whites and indians.
