Last 3 classes: dedicated to specific topics of criminology. Gender differences in crime and cirminal justice outcomes. There are journals, books, scholars dedicated to gender and crime. Address theories, findings related to the issue. Is female crime increasing: quesiton since 1960s. Percent of violent crimes cmmitted by male and female offenders in canada, 2003. Real gender differences exist: men engage in more criminal behaviour on average, and are more targeted by the justice system.
